Running Zone Thursday Night Fun Runs/Walks (On hiatus until Daylight Savings Time starts) Thursday evening starting at 6:30 pm. We meet at the store for a 30 -45 minute workout. 11/15/2009 - Space Coast Runners Sunday Fun Run Group potluck breakfast is on Sunday, Nov 22 at 8:00 AM at Riverfront Park in Cocoa. Bring a dish to share and we will furnish the drinks. 11/15/2009 - SCR ROY results for the SCC 15K and 2M have been posted here. 09/25/2009 - TRS results for the Get Up & Go races have been posted here. 09/14/2009 - Due to the reductions in the evening hours at the Cocoa Library the SCR monthly meetings are moving the the Merritt Island Health-Plex on the THIRD Thursday's of the month at 7:00 PM. 07/23/2009 - Port St. John fun runs are now also on Mondays at 5:30 A.M. The Titusville fun run schedule has been expanded. See the fun run section for information. 06/28/2009 - The Space Coast Runners Runner of the Year series has been announced. Space Coast Runner's Member Jackie Schmoll, and her husband Steve, have started a fitness business called Get Moving! Group Fitness & Personal Training. Join them for a 60 minute workout that includes cardiovascular, strength, and flexibility training. Mind-body and functional exercises are incorporated into the prescribed routines to offer an effective calorie-burning workout. The program does not include running but will keep your heart rate in the aerobic range and provide much need cross-training to your running/walking program. Please come dressed to workout and bring a water bottle, mat, and hat. Classes are held throughout Brevard County and your first class is FREE. It's time to Get Moving! 06/05/2009 - Cocoa Sunday fun runs are going to run on north River Road starting on Sunday June 7. The start time is still 6:30 AM and will meet at the same location in Riverfront Park in Cocoa.
8/13/2008 - The 2008 - 2009 Space Coast Radio Running Report
94.1 FM - Windover Farms Radio is broadcasting its 4th year of the Space Coast Running Report. The report runs for 33 weeks with 11 reports each week. The Monday-Tuesday report will provide weekend race results, upcoming races, interviews, high school results.
The Thursday-Friday report will promote upcoming races, runner standings, interviews, high school running news.
Reports will run about 4-5 minutes will air September 1 to December 16 and from January 19 to May 19.
